The automatic reactive emotions dominate our daily lives. This results in many conflicts - particularly in relationships ...
Think of these emotions (eg anger) as a big flywheel before.
The faster it runs, the more angry we are at this very moment. If we observe it, it loses momentum and slows directly ... This could be a way to bring the flywheel to anger to a halt - but it does require that we are more or less always been very aware and clear. Straight falling so hard so often - especially in a conflict in the partnership.
Would like to consider two extreme positions with you:
1) What would you feel if the flywheel anger slowly coming to a halt? The
may in some cases take a long time ... but most likely will get the essential feelings (and in terms of the partnership) to light. They're always positive and has to do with love, trust and compassion. This is the slow way to get back into love ...
2) Now the other way around. The flywheel gets angry with a certain event or more energy. It spins faster and faster - until ... man that emotion can not stand. You might think it is crazy. Often the flywheel stops suddenly and then together "behind" the original sense of anger come again now, the feelings being revealed. Then there are the (seltenen!) moments, in which is in a very short time of strong anger strong love ...
